On 6th October 2024 as runners finish the Cardiff Half Marathon we will be launching our road to ultra programme here in South Wales.
We want to train 15 people to help them run their first ultra marathon.
Trail running is a different way to run. It's endurance running but it's also relaxed running, with slower paces, less stress on your joints and a detox for your mind as you take on woodland, grassy fields, and mountains. But that doesn't mean it's easy. It's the ultimate test for your body and also your mind.

You will receive a personalised weekly running program tailored to your unique abilities and fitness level. Additionally, we’ll provide a comprehensive strength and conditioning plan designed to build the endurance and resilience your body needs to thrive. We'll also assist you in developing a strategic fuelling plan to empower you for ultra-long distances. Together, we’ll optimise your training for peak performance!
If you follow any plan to increase distance it will tell you that you need to increase it 10% each week. That would take you months, years to get to an ultra distance. Those types of programmes are designed for the road. We don't expect you to run every cm of the course if that's what you're thinking. We just want you to finish. Most endurance DNF is not caused by Aerobic ability but muscle and mental toughness.
Sign up for just £100 for first month which includes your entry into a ultra marathon in south wales and then £50 a month until a month before your chosen race.
